Series 1                                                                                                                   

Zoot is played by Daniel James, and is one of the characters we meet early in the series. He’s the inventor of the tribe called the Locos. Zoot has always been strong in his belief and role as the the leader of the Locos together with Ebony. He was feared by the children in the city, but to feel more safe in a brutal society, many of them joined him under the phrase “Power and chaos”. In the beginning of series 1, it was revealed that Zoot and Bray were brothers, and that he was the father of little Brady, Trudy’s daughter. One night Zoot came to the Mall to see his daughter for the first time, but Lex and the other guys of the Mallrats caught him, and with Lex’s “help”, Zoot fell over the fence on the second floor and died. Zoot’s funeral found place at the beach where his body was laid on a boat and set on fire. Even though Zoot had died, his spirit still lives through the next series of The Tribe.
